No pts will be awarded for the positions in which their other entries finish . Teams finishing below them will not move up .(example if a contestants entries finish 2nd and 4th , he will be awarded 5 pts for 2nd and no pts for 4th . The 5th and 6th place teams would not move up ,they would be awarded 2 and 1 pt respectively ).
  4. If a contestant enters a team in 2 of the same weight classes at the same fair on the same day he can only collect pts in one of the classes .(example , a Maine  fair might have a ffa distance and a ffa 12’ class on the same day . you could only earn pts in 1 of those classes).
  5. A contestant may earn pts in the same class at 2 different fairs being held on the same day .(example , a contestant may enter the 3300 class and earn pts at a fair held in the afternoon and then load up and enter the 3300 at a different fair that evening and still earn those pts).
  6. In the event of a late night pull that finishes after midnight . pts will be awarded as usual on the date the class began.
  7. Efforts to make the pts list as complete as possible lies in the hands of the pullers .it is up to them to get the information sent in to the chairperson for compilation. All classes /fair results that are received will be compiled. If we do not receive results of a class or fair then they can not be compiled. it is recommended the results be reported within 30 days of the pull. The chairperson will not be obligated to hunt down results. All pts must be reported by Nov 1,2009 to allow  time for final figures to be tallied to try to announce winners at the banquet.  Awards will be presented at the following Fall or Spring Meeting.

The chairperson for the 2009 hi pt award program is

Caroline Smith

** Every effort will be made to report points under the correct name.  Keep in mind that very few pullers take responsibility for reporting their own points.  When results are sent in for an event and the team names are listed as "nicknames, etc...", the webmaster and points chairperson will put their best effort forth to report them correctly.
Example:  A spectator sends in results and states pullers name as "Stone"..we will post and count points as "Stone Farm",  "S&B" will be posted as "Stevens & Beatty",  "C&S" will be posted as "Champagne & Smith", etc...  If a puller finds a discrepancy in the posting they are to notify the points chairperson prior to Nov 1st for a correction.
