Hazen E. Beals

HUDSON - Hazen E. Beals, 67, of Hudson, formerly of Hopkinton, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at his residence in Hudson.

Born in Blaine, Maine, he was the son of Mina (Noble) Beals of Worcester and the late Cleveland Beals, formerly of Blaine.

He was a self-employed sheet metal fabricator.

He was a member of the Eastern Draft Horse Association.

Besides his mother, he leaves his former wife, Barbara (Gullifer) Beals of Hudson; his children, Danny Beals and his wife, Mary, of Milford, Bart Beals and his wife, Marsha, of Hudson, Lee Beals and his wife, Ann, of Shrewsbury, Denise Lake and her husband, Tom, of West Boylston, Todd Beals of Grafton, and Shanna Spencer and her husband, Eric, of Worcester; his sister, Judy Roiko of Leominster; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, Nov. 3, at 2 p.m., at Grace Baptist Church, 353 River Road, Hudson.
Burial will be in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.

Visiting hours are Friday, Nov. 2, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home (www.tighehamilton.com), 50 Central St., Hudson.
